About Us
Our Name
The phrase “One New Man” is taken from Ephesians chapter 2 which says
“For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. (Ephesians 2:14-15 NLT)
Our Purpose
In Romans 11:16-18 the Apostle Paul spoke to the non-Jewish members of the church in Rome and described them as branches that were taken out of a wild olive tree and grafted into the olive tree of Israel, so we belong to the same olive tree with the same roots.
For centuries the church has been separated from her roots in Israel. We endeavour to reconnect the church with her roots.
Our Work
To achieve this purpose, we work with churches to bring balanced teaching to help Christians understand our roots and to impart God’s heart for Israel to them. We hold pastors’ conferences in different places in Asia as well as speak in churches as and when we are invited.
We hold special events like celebrating the Feasts of the Lord and every first Sunday of October we host the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. We are also a part of a community called The Asian Messianic Forum which comprises of ministries in Asia with a heart for Israel. We gather bi-annually for fellowship with each other and with Messianic teachers from Israel.
We can also organize tours to Israel.
The Founders
This ministry was founded by Pastor Gilbert and Almena Carthigasu. It was officially registered in 2007. Pastor Gilbert began ministry with the Foursquare Church of Singapore in 1988, he started the outreach to Filipino workers which grew and officially became a church in 1994. He also served as the National Representative for Foursquare Singapore from 2007 until 2011. In 1999 God supernaturally revealed His heart for Israel at a Passover celebration, in 2006 Pastor Gilbert attended the School of Jewish Studies conducted by Youth With A Mission in Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Declaration of Faith

God – We believe in one true living and eternal God, the creator of all things. We believe He exists as a triune Godhead; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Yeshua – We believe that Yeshua is equally God together with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We believe He is the “Son of Man” who received the glory from the “Ancient of Days” that the prophet Daniel described in Daniel 7:13&14.

Holy Spirit – We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of God who participated in the act of creation (Genesis 1:2)

The Scriptures – We believe that all 66 books of the Bible are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and inerrant. It is authoritative and sufficient for holy living. (2 Timothy 3:16&17)

Salvation – We believe that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Yeshua alone. (Ephesians 2:8&9, Acts 4:12, Romans 6:23)

Israel – We believe that God is still faithful to the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants and He has not revoked the gifts and calling He placed on them. (Romans 11:28-29)

The One New Man in Messiah – We believe that as non-Jewish disciples of Yeshua, we have been brought into the commonwealth of Israel and joined together with them and share with them all the benefits God has given. (Ephesians 2:11-16, 3:1-7)
